2023 Nissan Rogue trims
The S FWD, S AWD, SV, SL and Platinum trims all make a return for 2023, and all except the base S models come powered by the fuel-efficient yet powerful 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo motor that debuted for the 2022 model year. Power from the 1.5-litre is rated at 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque, figures that are up from 181 hp and 181 lb-ft on the 2.5L naturally-aspirated engine that the S models come equipped with. Fuel economy for the 1.5, meanwhile, is rated at 7.6L/100 km in the combined cycle and just 6.7 on the highway, making this Rogue a great road trip companion.
Of course, when it comes to road trips, fuel economy and power are important, but so are the interior accoutrements and space.
When it comes to the latter, the Rogue treats occupants with a generous 2,098 litres of cargo space, as well as 2,985 L of passenger space. This makes the new Rogue one of the most accommodating SUVs in its class.
A long list of features in every 2023 Nissan Rogue
Base S models come standard with an eight-inch colour display as well as heated front seats and steering wheel and automatic dual-zone climate control. Upgrading to an SV model provides a power driver’s seat and remote engine start as well as a WiFi hotspot and four USB ports – two USB-C and two USB-A.
2023 Rogue SL models, meanwhile, add heated rear seats, memory driver’s seat and leather seating surfaces as well as Amazon Alexa integration. When it comes to storing the multitude of gear you’re sure to have on a given road trip, the SL turns the trick of providing a Divide-N-Hide cargo area which allows for the expansion of the cargo area.
When moving the family through town or on road trips, meanwhile, you want to ensure they’re safe and the Rogue has you covered with ProPILOT Assist (PPA) safety tech. Essentially, what PPA does is take the Rogue’s optional intelligent adaptive cruise control and steer assist technologies and combine them to help you bring your car to a full stop and then have it start again without ever having to touch the pedals.
Either way, there’s a Rogue for everyone in 2023.
